New air freight route links China and Poland

A new air freight route officially opened on Thursday, 12 September, linking Urumqi, capital city of Northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and Katowice in Poland.

The opening of the air freight route would enhance the connection between Xinjiang and key air hubs in Europe and improve the efficiency of freight transport, the Diwopu International Airport customs said.

Four to six flights per week will operate on the route starting in early October.
