During January-April of 2016, exports from Kazakhstan to the countries of the European Union by road grew by 6.08% against the same period of the previous year, totaling 48.2 thousand tons.
The most popular direction of export road transportation from Kazakhstan to the EU was Poland with 14 thousand tons of cargoes within 4 months, which is 2.2 times more against the same period in 2015. Export grew due to food supplies, oilseeds and fruit to be more precise (in the volume, this group of goods grew from 4.7 to 10.7 thousand tons).
Road transportation from Kazakhstan to Germany was entirely contrary. Within the four months in 2016, the volume of cargo transportation decreased from 14.2 to 10.9 thousand tons (-23%). The reduction was also due to the fall in the export of oilseeds (from 6.8 to 4.1 thousand tons).
Positive dynamics and certain growth of physical volumes of export road transportation was observed from Kazakhstan to Italy mainly due to export of leather goods and rawstock.
