According to China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., a total of 11,403 express container trains were operated on the China–Europe route in the first seven months of this year, carrying nearly 1.23 million TEU, representing year-on-year increases of 12 percent and 11 percent respectively.
In July this year, 1,776 container trains carried 185,000 TEU, the third month in a row when more than 1,700 trains were dispatched.
