Registration of new heavy trucks declines in Poland

The Polish Automotive Industry Association (PZPM) reports that the number of truck registrations in the country has decreased.

From January to March, 7,226 new trucks of all types were registered in Poland which is 16% less than during the same period in 2023. The number of registrations of long-haul trucks decreased by 16.8%.

This March, 2,765 new trucks with a gross vehicle weight exceeding 3.5 tons were registered – this is 19% less than during the same period last year, but more than in February. At the same time, the group of trucks with a gross vehicle weight of less than 3.5 tons increased by 6,294 newly registered vehicles in March, which is 7.2% more than during the same period last year.
